EFA and Records

The Enhanced First Aid offers two options to attend the training New technicians can enter via the main EFA training which consists of Basic First Aid (FA) and EFA elements and two training records FA and EFA will be uploaded to WINDA.

If you already have a GWO Basic First Aid (or refresher) FA (or FAR) certificate, you have the option of taking the Refresher First Aid (FAR) combined with EFA training elements and you will also receive two uploads to WINDA EFAR and EFA after successful completion of the training.

• Course participants can join the main EFA training without prior basic FA training
• The Enhanced training EFA or EFAR includes all elements of the FA(R) training module
• At the end of the training the Course Participants receive both a FA(R) and EFA(R) certificate

In regards to the dates, for the course participants who has already completed the GWO first Aid/ refresher module previously, the date in WINDA will be the expiry date for the GWO FA / FAR records when uploading the 2 new certificates for FAR and EFAR,

Please note, WINDA does not put a restriction on the module upload dates.
