In previous versions of the BST(R) Standard up through v19, if the training provider has been certified in MH and WAH already then they can provide the MH+WAH combined module. Please note, for the combined module, there will be two records uploaded to WINDA (1 WAH & 1 MH). The course completion date will be listed the same for both of these records, this is how WINDA shows that this is the WAH+MH combined module.
As of the release of version 20 of Basic Safety Training, this option has been removed. Upon adoption of the new version of the standard, Training Providers may no longer offer the combined option.
The combined module was removed following a comprehensive analysis of learning objectives and health and safety data. It was determined that manual handling content requires enhanced focus to better address workplace safety needs. For detailed learning objectives, please refer to the Manual Handling (MAH) module in the BST standard.
